Owlet Surprise at Noddsdale Estate

1st August 2023

We strategically installed a camera within our woodshed at Noddsdale Esate and in doing so, we were delighted to capture remarkable images of two little owlets who had chosen this secluded spot as their nesting site!

This unexpected discovery certainly added an element of excitement to our daily operations!

What our guests say

This is a delightful, well equipped cottage in a glorious setting where everything has been carefully thought of to make your stay memorable. From fresh flowers and shortbread to dog bowls and throws we were unable to think of anything more needed. The garden is dog secure and there are stunning walks on the doorstep as well as the accessibility of the Isles of Cumbrae,Arran and Bute. Jane and Chris are the perfect hosts. We can't wait to return.

A Wonderful cottage

Definitely a luxury rental. The flat was very clean and very well equipped, and we felt well looked after throughout our stay. The sea view is gorgeous. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and easy to use. Thick and thirsty bath towels were provided, and the beds and linens were superb. We slept better than at home. TV and internet connections were easy and good. We were looking for outdoor activities, and there were plenty for our two week stay. The grounds of the estate are absolutely beautiful and well maintained. Highly recommend!

Great hosts, excellent stay, definitely would book again. Highly recommend!

Very comfortable apartment within an unusual and beautiful home. So clean, peace and quiet, lovely views and walks. So unusual . Just loved the place overall. Jane and her husband were particularly nice people. Noddsdale Estate is about a mile from the front of Largs - but well worth that extra mile. Definately will return whenever possible.
