Rollercoaster ride
The latest travel restrictions for our area in Scotland allow a very select group of guests to stay in our holiday accommodation! Those who live in the same council area as us, which is North Ayrshire, are the lucky ones! However, there are exceptions, so please do get in touch to discuss your enquiry. I have set the calendar in the short term to allow enquiries only. That way hopefully there are no unnecessary bookings and subsequent refunds!
We are all hoping things will improve and we can open fully again before too long.
On the bright side – we have had some heavy rain recently which means our Hydro Electric scheme has been generating good amounts of electricity. Here is a picture of the ‘cash flow’ coming into the dam up the hill!
Keep safe!
We stayed Mon-Fri and had a great time. We had a very warm greeting from the hosts upon arrival which was a great start. Not only is the property beautiful (the inside is a clever fusion of period feel with modern gadgetry), but there was lots nearby to keep us entertained. We spent a lot of time on the tennis courts (rackets and balls all available in the porch to help yourself to), and there is a beautiful walk up the hillside with some beautiful views.

What a gem!
Definitely a luxury rental. The flat was very clean and very well equipped, and we felt well looked after throughout our stay. The sea view is gorgeous. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and easy to use. Thick and thirsty bath towels were provided, and the beds and linens were superb. We slept better than at home. TV and internet connections were easy and good. We were looking for outdoor activities, and there were plenty for our two week stay. The grounds of the estate are absolutely beautiful and well maintained. Highly recommend!

Great hosts, excellent stay, definitely would book again. Highly recommend!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Willow Cottage. This was our first holiday with our five month-old baby, and we hugely appreciated the various appliances in the house (v. modern washing machine, tumble dryer, etc) and the extra effort Jane went to (setting up a cot for us) that helped keep things as easy and relaxing as possible. It was great to explore the various local walks and to make the most from the close proximity to Largs (fantastic 'carry oots' from Tinto tapas bar and Fish Works on the sea front). Have no doubt we'll be back.
