Hydro Dam Update

14th October 2022

Following an order of removal due to diseased Larch Trees located at the Hydro Dam, we were advised to remove all other trees in their vicinity to prevent further issues.

Although looking rather bare at the moment, we are planning to replant a variety of tree species in the future!

What our guests say

A lovely stay at this cottage. Despite the midgey infestation that seemed to plague Largs, and the cottage, we had a good time. It was home from home.

Welcome Home

The house was great - warm, welcoming and really well appointed. Lots of thoughtful touches and it felt like home straight away. Thank you to our host who was brilliant and proactive - setting things up for our kids and checking in with us. Thanks again!

Great house, great host

We stayed for a week in Bell Loft on the Noddsdale Estate just a few mins outside of Largs. The accommodation was first class - warm, comfortable, high standard and so thoughtfully presented.

The Noddsdale Estate is just 5 mins drive from the centre of Largs with its ferry to Cumbrae and proximity to Arran, Bute and Glasgow. Lovely walks from the estate and two superb golf courses within a short drive. The owners could not have been more helpful and we even had access to their private tennis court. We highly recommend Bell Loft and as a family who had not been to Scotland before we had a wonderful time and hope to return.

Super Accommodation close to Largs
