October breaks available

20th September 2021

Come and enjoy some peace and quiet in a safe environment away from the hustle and bustle. Apples are ripening and Autumn fruiting raspberries are delicious! We have had an exceptionally busy summer and have enjoyed meeting so many people and it has been wonderful to hear the thwack of the tennis balls again – any budding Emma Raducanus out there?!

The sun has shone and we have had some anxious moments when, with no rain for weeks, we thought we were going to run short of water. Fortunately a leak was detected and that helped! As Autumn approaches we are now beginning to see some rain which is welcome, not only for our private water supply but also for the Hydro Electric Scheme which has been rather too quiet for months… Be sure to pack your waterproofs and wellies if you come during the next few months. We look forward to welcoming you.

What our guests say

This was our second stay at Noddsdale, but our first stay in the Bell Loft. Like the Granary, the Bell Loft is spacious and very well-equipped for our family of three. Highlights are 2 bathrooms in the Bell Loft, but a superb view of Great Cumbrae from the Granary. Mrs Evans is delightful to deal with: always very friendly and thoughtful.

Second Stay

Willow Cottage (Noddsdale) had everything needed for a carefree holiday/break in North Ayrshire. The cottage was equipped to the highest standard and just a couple of miles from Largs in an extremely picturesque location - ideal for exploring the coast and popping across to the islands.

Wonderful!

Faultless

Beautiful location with gardens and land to explore. The house was quirky but very comfortable. Spotlessly clean and generously supplied with towels and kitchen equipment.
